Paediatric
For the first 6 months of life, breastfeeding is all your baby needs. The mother should eat a well-balanced diet during this period — consult your doctor for specific meal plans and what to avoid. Breastfeeding should be on demand, day and night (8–12 times daily) to build milk supply.
After 6 months, introduce complementary foods — baby food, soft vegetables, and other age-appropriate solids alongside continued breastfeeding. Always consult your doctor on what to introduce and when.
Working with Your Paediatrician
Your paediatrician will track your baby’s weight, height, vaccinations, and developmental milestones. Keep a personal medical record to track progress, illnesses, and vaccination history. At the end of the day, everyone just wants their baby to be healthy — as they say, health is wealth!
